About Us
Stacy Kreiswirth, NP has been practicing HIV Medicine, Adult Primary Care and Women's Health in New York City for 27 years. Born and educated here, she obtained her undergraduate degree from New York University and her graduate degree from Columbia University. Prior to entering private practice in 1990, she completed internships in a variety of health care specialties including infectious disease, internal medicine, women's health and prisoner health. She has research experience in the evaluation of HIV, Hepatitis C, and Anemia Treatments, electronic medical records and infectious disease surveillance.
Ms. Kreiswirth is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State, the NYC Medical Reserve Corps, Physicians Research Network and the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM). She also served on the AAHIVM NYS Board of Directors from 2002-2004 and was among the first in the country to be AAHIVM certified as an HIV specialist. In addition to her passion for medicine, Ms Kreiswirth's interests include art, literature, fashion, architecture and design.
