David D. Kim, MD
Internal Medicine / HIV Medicine

David D. Kim, MD is board certified in Internal Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and earned his medical degree at New York Medical College. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Mt. Sinai and St. Vincent's Hospitals in New York City. Dr. Kim has a special interest in the treatment and management of HIV disease in the setting of long-term primary care. He has published research papers and posters and has been a principal investigator of industry sponsored clinical trials and expanded access programs.

Dr. Kim is also a long-time advocate of addressing the health disparities and barriers to health care in the Asian immigrant population. In 2006, Dr. Kim was awarded the Regional Leadership Award by NYU School of Medicine, the Center for the Study of Asian and American Health. Currently, Dr. Kim holds an academic position at NYU School of Medicine as Clinical Assistant Professor in Medicine. He is one of the founding partners of Astor Medical, PC.
